    Costs

    What decides the price

Two quotes for "the same" treatment can differ a lot. These five things explain most of the difference.

    • 1How many implants — and whether one jaw or both.
    • 2The implant brand. Premium systems cost more and are easier to service in the UK.
    • 3The final teeth — acrylic or zirconia, and how many.
    • 4Extra procedures such as bone grafts or sinus lifts.
    • 5What's bundled: hotel, transfers, X-rays, temporary teeth.

    What do you need?
    Which jaw?

Every mouth is different, so an honest price needs an X-ray. Send a recent panoramic X-ray or a few photos and you'll get a written plan and price — with the implant brand named and everything included listed.

    The journey

What actually happens, step by step

Most implant treatments need two trips. Exact timings depend on your mouth — your dentist should give you a written plan.

    1. At home

      Send your X-ray

A recent panoramic X-ray or photos. You get a written plan and price before you book anything.

    2. Trip one

      Scan & implants

3D scan, consultation, then the implants are placed. You fly home with temporary teeth.

    3. At home

      Healing

The implants fuse with the bone over several months. We check in with you by video.

    4. Trip two

      Your final teeth

Final teeth are made, fitted and adjusted until your bite feels right.

    5. Back in the UK

      Aftercare

Written guarantee, care instructions and a named coordinator you can message.

    Is Turkey right for you?

An honest answer, not a sales pitch

Treatment abroad suits many people. It doesn't suit everyone — and a good clinic will tell you so.

Often a good fit if you…

    • can travel twice and rest for a few days each time
    • have had a written plan and know exactly what's included
    • are getting a named implant brand that UK dentists recognise
    • are happy to follow the aftercare plan at home

Think twice, or ask more, if you…

    • are being offered healthy teeth filed down for crowns
    • have been promised everything in one short trip
    • can't find who the dentist is, or their qualifications
    • have a health condition — talk to your GP or UK dentist first

    Back in the UK

Before you fly, make sure you'll have these

These protect you if you need help from a UK dentist later.

    • An implant passport: brand, system, size and position of every implant
    • Your X-rays and scans, copied to you before you leave
    • The guarantee in writing — what it covers, for how long, and what you must do
    • A named contact who answers in English

    Common questions

    Quick answers

Why are implants cheaper in Turkey?

Mainly lower running costs — rent, staff and lab fees — not cheaper implants. A good quote names the same implant brands used in the UK, so you can compare like for like.

How long do I need to stay?

It depends on your treatment plan. Your clinic should tell you the number of days for each trip in writing before you book flights.

Will a UK dentist look after my implants?

Many will, especially if you have an implant passport showing the brand and system. Some UK dentists prefer not to treat work done abroad, so ask your own dentist before you go.

What does the guarantee actually cover?

That varies between clinics. Read what is covered, for how long, and whether travel is included if something needs fixing. If it isn't written down, it isn't guaranteed.

Can I get a price before I travel?

Yes. Send a recent panoramic X-ray and you'll get a written plan and price. A clinic that won't put the price in writing is a warning sign.
